About KVCLC

Two decades of transforming lives through the power of the Gospel in Kyengera and beyond.

Our Story

From Humble Beginnings to a Growing Ministry

Victory Christian Life Ministries was started in July 1997 by Pastor David Mukasa. This came after God’s direction to a place that was bound physically, spiritually and financially, with an objective of delivering lives from the hold of the enemy evidenced through a lot of witchcraft. Pastor David began with eight people.

This Ministry began in a refreshing annointing, new start as the people committed to being not just christians but consummed by the power of the Holy ghost.

We had no other agenda but Jesus christ being the foundation and the Rock

God has given us the grace to reach unreached places and lay hold of that for which christ jesus hold of us, philipians 3:12,''and press towards the goal for the price of the upward call of God in christ jesus.

God called me when i was 17yrs old. I started evangelism from town to town, village to village and i could see hundreds of people coming to jesus christ.

When i was between 18 to 19 yrs i began opening up churches and i could get other pastors to pastor those churches.Through all this,God was preparing me for the great ministry.

In 1997 God called me for the Kyengera town where iam today.I found a great resistance from the muslim and the catholic community.I began a temporally bamboo structure on the piece of land where i was renting from a certain lady.I could pay six months of rent in advance and i was in the church alone until five people became members and when we the church grew from this number 5 to 10 members, the muslim community decided to break our church and they paid the free bigger amount of money in which she managed to replace our temporally church with a new house.

Then we were pushed to another place where we spent a week andwe were evicted again. We again went to another place where we constructed another temporally structure after four months and the church broke up and only ten members remained.

The catholic community rose against us and that is when God showed up and gave us our own piece of land.God began to move in a miraculous way as many thousands of people came to jesus christ. This enabled us to hold bigger and mighty crusades and conferences in this placece.Praise and Glory be to Jesus!!!!

In 2004,the lord gave me another vision to begin an international Ministry and over 1500 pastors have joined this ministry.Of recent we had an inspiring Revival conference in which we hosted many pastors and ministers who were totally changed.

We hold two pastors conferences annually and this has given many ministers an opportunity to as an open door to serve the lord.God has placed powerful ministers in my life to reach unopened doors i.e from Australia,Sweden,United Kingdom,USA and all over Africa.

What We Stand For

Our Core Values

These values guide everything we do as a church community.

Jesus Christ as the Foundation

The church holds Jesus Christ as its sole foundation and rock, with no other agenda driving the ministry except His name, His gospel, and His purposes.

Consecration to the Holy Spirit

The church values being fully consumed by the power of the Holy Spirit, going beyond merely identifying as Christians to living a life wholly surrendered to the Spirit of God.

Reaching the Unreached

The church places high value on going to places and people that others have overlooked those isolated by geography, poverty, language, culture, and social barriers believing that every forgotten person is worth pursuing.

Perseverance

The church was built on the conviction that giving up is not an option. From its founding years of eviction and opposition, the value of pressing forward regardless of resistance became central to its identity and culture.

Praise and Worship

The church values worship as a priority and a lifestyle, not as a performance. They believe that genuine praise and worship regardless of style, culture, or vocal ability brings believers into the very presence of God.

Unity in the Body of Chris

The church values open fellowship with all believers, functioning as a networking ministry that embraces the wider body of Christ in pursuit of the unity that Jesus prayed for.

Evangelism and Soul Winning

The church places evangelism at the very heart of its existence, rooted in the founder's earliest years of town to town and village to village gospel preaching, and continued through crusades, conferences, and international outreach.

Faith in the Supernatural

The church values expectant faith believing that God heals, delivers, and intervenes in human circumstances today, and that a life of prayer positions believers to experience and demonstrate the power of God.

Doctrine

What We Believe

Our faith is grounded in the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.

The Holy Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and sole authoritative Word of God, and that it is the final authority on all matters of faith and conduct.

The Trinity

We believe in one God eternally existing in three distinct persons that is to say, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Co-equal and co-eternal in nature.

The Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe in the full deity of Jesus Christ, encompassing His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to the earth.

Salvation

We believe that the only path to forgiveness and cleansing from sin is through genuine repentance and personal faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, and that salvation is available through no other means.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who indwells every true believer, enabling and empowering them to live a holy and overcoming life.

Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism as a public and outward declaration by which a believer identifies themselves with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Restoration

We believe in the restoration of the whole person that is to say spirit, soul, and body through the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, available to every individual regardless of their past.

Prayer & Spiritual Authority

We believe that prayer is direct communication with God, that it has the power to change circumstances, and that believers carry God given authority to destroy the works of the enemy and establish the Kingdom of God.

The Unity of the Church

We believe the Church is called to be one unified body, welcoming all of Christ's followers in fulfilment of Jesus' own prayer that His people would be one as He and the Father are one.
