What We Stand For
These values guide everything we do as a church community.
The church holds Jesus Christ as its sole foundation and rock, with no other agenda driving the ministry except His name, His gospel, and His purposes.
The church values being fully consumed by the power of the Holy Spirit, going beyond merely identifying as Christians to living a life wholly surrendered to the Spirit of God.
The church places high value on going to places and people that others have overlooked those isolated by geography, poverty, language, culture, and social barriers believing that every forgotten person is worth pursuing.
The church was built on the conviction that giving up is not an option. From its founding years of eviction and opposition, the value of pressing forward regardless of resistance became central to its identity and culture.
The church values worship as a priority and a lifestyle, not as a performance. They believe that genuine praise and worship regardless of style, culture, or vocal ability brings believers into the very presence of God.
The church values open fellowship with all believers, functioning as a networking ministry that embraces the wider body of Christ in pursuit of the unity that Jesus prayed for.
The church places evangelism at the very heart of its existence, rooted in the founder's earliest years of town to town and village to village gospel preaching, and continued through crusades, conferences, and international outreach.
The church values expectant faith believing that God heals, delivers, and intervenes in human circumstances today, and that a life of prayer positions believers to experience and demonstrate the power of God.
Doctrine
Our faith is grounded in the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith.
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and sole authoritative Word of God, and that it is the final authority on all matters of faith and conduct.
We believe in one God eternally existing in three distinct persons that is to say, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Co-equal and co-eternal in nature.
We believe in the full deity of Jesus Christ, encompassing His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal future return to the earth.
We believe that the only path to forgiveness and cleansing from sin is through genuine repentance and personal faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, and that salvation is available through no other means.
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who indwells every true believer, enabling and empowering them to live a holy and overcoming life.
We believe in water baptism as a public and outward declaration by which a believer identifies themselves with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the restoration of the whole person that is to say spirit, soul, and body through the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ, available to every individual regardless of their past.
We believe that prayer is direct communication with God, that it has the power to change circumstances, and that believers carry God given authority to destroy the works of the enemy and establish the Kingdom of God.
We believe the Church is called to be one unified body, welcoming all of Christ's followers in fulfilment of Jesus' own prayer that His people would be one as He and the Father are one.
